About Us

Amundsen Commercial Kitchens has been a family owned and operated food service distributor for over 80 years. It was established in 1939 by Earl Amundsen and was later purchased by Jerry Amundsen in 1959. In 1989, Cary Amundsen, son of Jerry, took over the daily responsibility of running the company. On August 1, 2020 Tom Nash, a long-time employee, purchased the company. Cary and Jerry Amundsen are both still involved with the company and maintain their book of customers.

Tom Nash started working for the Amundsen family in 2006. He has learned and worked every aspect of the company from the warehouse to the sales team. Tom is proud to carry on the legacy of the Amundsen family business and looks forward to growing the business even more in the years to come. Amundsen has been the equipment provider for many well-known projects around the nation. A few of the most recent large projects include the Rangers stadium in Arlington, TX, Texas A&M stadium in College Station, TX, Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL, and Sports & Social in Troy, MI.

Amundsen Commercial Kitchens offers full project management services on every project. From inception to completion, we will be there to help your project run smoothly. We offer consulting, drawings, site-visits, installation and full turn-key equipment packages. We can be as involved or as little involved as each customer needs. We work with customers nationwide and we will also ship internationally. We have several warehouses centrally located in OK and TX where we stock some of the most needed equipment in the industry. Please reach out and let us know how we can help you grow. We look forward to working with you on your next project!
